Well, if it wasn’t for driving other people’s cars I wouldn’t be able to drive, so...

How? Jacked it up in the wrong place?

Just noticed it the other day. Must have happened less than a month from now cause I had the door sills rapainted then. Also, a few days prior to that I changed my tyres and I would have definitely noticed the dent.
I let my brother drive the car at one point for about 4 km and he went up a kerb at about 20-25kph instead of waiting for another car to exit a narrow alley and make room. It must have happened then because I didn’t do anything else that could have caused this.

Just a friendly heads up, the phrase “less than a month from now” or any permutation of that phrase, would indicate a future event. So, saying “less than a month from now” would normally indicate an event that will occur in the future, less than a month from this date and time.
You probably want to go with “less than a month ago.”
